Production Control
The Production Control module in PrismERP provides a comprehensive framework to manage and monitor all manufacturing operations from planning to completion. It allows users to create and track Production Orders, linking each order with the appropriate Bill of Materials (BoM), production units, processes, and steps. By selecting a BoM, product details, item quantities, specifications, and associated overhead costs are automatically loaded, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the production workflow.
Production Scheduling enables users to define the sequence and timing of each process and step, using forward or backward scheduling methods. This ensures that operations are executed in the correct order, respecting dependencies and target completion dates. Users can monitor the planned versus actual production timelines to maintain efficiency.
Material handling is fully integrated into the module. Users can record Production Issues, Material Consumption, Raw Material Returns, and Goods Production. Each entry captures essential details such as branch, unit, product, process, step, quantities, and work-in-progress (WIP) status. The system automatically populates many fields from the production order, while allowing users to update dates, quantities, and inventory details as needed. Advanced search, filtering, and detailed views make it easy to locate and review specific records, ensuring full traceability of all production activities.
Cost management is tightly coupled with production operations. The module supports Pre-Costing Simulations, Manufacturing Cost assignment, and BoM Recalculation to maintain accurate estimates and actual costs. Production Runs allow tracking of unit, material, and overhead costs, and support splitting of production steps into sub-steps for precise monitoring.
Daily Production Records consolidate all production-related activities, providing a complete overview of the day’s operations. Pending entries can be edited, while approved or rejected records remain secure. This ensures that production remains organized, cost-transparent, and fully traceable across all branches, units, and processes, supporting efficient manufacturing management and decision-making.
