Step-by-Step User Guide

Step 1: Enable Batch Tracking for Products

  • Go to Inventory Product Master
  • Select a product
  • Check "Enable Batch Tracking"
  • Set rules for batch number generation, expiry tracking, etc.

Step 2: Receive Goods with Batch Details

  • Navigate to: Purchase Delivery or GRN
  • Enter or auto-generate batch number
  • Provide manufacturing/expiry date (if applicable)

Step 3: Batch Movement in Warehouse

  • While transferring, issuing, or adjusting stock, select the batch
  • Use Batch-wise stock view to verify availability

Step 4: Sales & Delivery

  • During sales order or delivery, system prompts for batch selection
  • Supports FIFO, LIFO, or manual batch picking

Step 5: Production & Consumption

  • In the Production Module, issue materials batch-wise
  • Final products can also be assigned new batches

Step 6: Return/Recall Management

  • Use Batch Traceability Report to find all transactions
  • Initiate return or recall processes accordingly

Step 7: Reporting & Monitoring

  • Navigate to: Inventory Reports > Batch Report
  • Generate reports by product, batch number, expiry status, or transaction history
