What is "Delivery Challan Without PI" in PrismERP?​

A Delivery Challan is a formal document that accompanies goods during delivery to confirm their movement. In PrismERP, this document can be issued even if a Purchase Invoice hasn't been created. It provides a clear record of the items dispatched, quantities, delivery instructions, and recipient details—serving as proof of goods movement while maintaining inventory and audit control.

How to Create a Delivery Challan Without PI​

Navigate to Supply Chain Create Challan

Steps:​

  1. Click on Create New Challan
  2. Select Delivery Type (e.g., Sample, Internal, Consignment)
  3. Enter Recipient Details (Customer, Branch, or Project)
  4. Add Item Information:
    • Product Code / Name
    • Quantity
    • Batch / Serial Number (if applicable)
    • Remarks
  5. Review and confirm dispatch date and transport details
  6. Save and Generate Delivery Challan

🔗 You can later convert or link this Challan to a Sales Invoice if required.

  • Enable Challan Approval Workflow before goods can be dispatched
  • Define Delivery Types based on business needs
