BoM Specification

BoM Specification defines the detailed technical and quality requirements for each component and finished product within a Bill of Materials. It ensures that all materials meet specific criteria such as physical properties, dimensions, tolerances, and compliance standards, supporting consistent production and quality control.

Key Features

Detailed Component Specs

Define physical, chemical, and quality attributes per material.

Measurement Units & Tolerances

Specify units and acceptable deviation ranges.

Attachment Support

Upload specification sheets, drawings, and test reports.

Linked to BoM Components

Directly associate specs with items in the BoM.

Quality Control Integration

Reference specs during in-process and final QC checks.

Custom Fields

Add industry-specific parameters (e.g., color, viscosity, hardness).

Versioning & Updates

Track changes in specifications across BoM revisions.
