Job Based Routing Configuration in PrismERP allows defining specific routing paths tailored for individual production jobs or orders. Unlike static routing, job-based routing provides flexibility to customize operation sequences, work centers, and resource allocations based on unique job requirements, enabling adaptive and dynamic production workflows.

Access Job Based Routing

Navigate to Job Based Routing`

Create New Job Based Routing

  • Click “Add New”
  • Enter Routing Name and Job/Production Order ID
  • Select the Product/Item related to the job

Define Operation Sequence

  • Add operations tailored to the job:
    • Operation name (e.g., Custom Assembly, Special Coating)
    • Assign specific work centers or machines
    • Set job-specific standard times (SMV, setup, run time)
    • Allocate labor or equipment resources as needed

Add Job-Specific Details

  • Attach instructions, safety notes, or special QC points
  • Define any unique dependencies or parallel processes

Save & Activate

  • Save the routing configuration
  • Link routing to the job card or production order

Monitor & Adjust

  • Track job progress through PrismERP dashboards
  • Adjust routing steps dynamically if production conditions change
