Manufacturing Cost
In PrismERP, Manufacturing Costs represent all direct and indirect expenses involved in producing a product, as captured during the Pre-Costing Simulation process. These costs include raw materials, labor, and overhead costs, organized under different Manufacturing Cost Heads to provide clarity and structure.
During a Pre-Costing Simulation, users can assign specific cost items to each cost head, inputting the associated amounts and selecting the relevant accounts. The system calculates the total manufacturing cost by combining these cost items with the BoM item costs and any overheads. Cost items defined under Manufacturing Cost Heads can be reused across multiple simulations or linked BoMs, maintaining consistency and reducing repetitive data entry.
