Static Routing Configuration

Static Routing Configuration in PrismERP refers to setting up a fixed, predefined sequence of operations and work centers for a product’s manufacturing process. Unlike dynamic routing, static routing remains constant for each production batch, ensuring standardized workflows, consistent quality, and streamlined scheduling.

Key Features​

  • Fixed Operation Sequence Predefine a consistent step-by-step process flow.

  • Work Center & Machine Assignment Assign specific machines or work centers to each operation.

  • Standard Time Values Set fixed operation times (SMV), setup times, and run times.

  • Resource Allocation Designate labor and equipment resources for each operation.

  • Integration with BoM and Production Orders Automatically applies static routing during production planning.

  • Operation Details Include notes, instructions, and safety guidelines.

  • Reporting Track adherence to static routing and identify deviations.

Usage Guide in PrismERP​

Go to Static Routing

Create New Static Routing​

  • Click “Add New”
  • Enter:
    • Routing Name
    • Routing Code
    • Product/Item this routing applies to

Define Operation Sequence​

  • Add operations in a fixed order:
    • Operation Name (e.g., Molding, Painting)
    • Assign Work Center or Machine
    • Set Standard Time (SMV, Setup Time, Run Time)
    • Assign Labor or Machine Resources

Add Additional Details (Optional)​

  • Attach operation instructions or safety notes
  • Define quality checkpoints (if applicable)

Save and Activate​

  • Save the static routing
  • Mark as Active for use in production orders

Usage in Production​

  • When creating production jobs, the system applies the static routing automatically
  • Monitor adherence and generate routing reports as needed
