Commission Setup (on Achievement)

PrismERP allows you to configure commission structures that are directly linked to sales achievements and employee performance levels. This setup ensures that commissions are rewarded based on actual results, motivating sales personnel to meet or exceed their targets. The Commission Setup on Achievement feature enables organizations to define commission rates and rules that correspond to various levels of sales achievements. Commissions can be structured progressively or with fixed rates depending on performance tiers.


Steps to Configure Commission Setup on Achievement

1. Navigate to Commission Setup

Go to Commission Setup (Achievement)


2. Add New Commission Setup

Click on Add New to create a new commission setup based on achievement levels.


3. Fill in General Information

  • Name: Provide a recognizable name for the commission structure (e.g., “Q2 Achievement Commission”).
  • Description: Optional description of the commission setup.
  • Branch: Select the branch or location to which this commission structure applies.
  • Effective Period: Set the start and end dates during which this commission structure will be active.

4. Define Achievement Levels and Commission Rates

Add achievement tiers by specifying:

e.g., 0% - 50%1% or Fixed Amount
51% - 75%3% or Fixed Amount
76% - 100%5% or Fixed Amount
Above 100%7% or Fixed Amount
  • You can create as many tiers as necessary.
  • Commission rates can be either a percentage of sales or a fixed amount.

5. Save the Commission Setup

After defining all tiers and general info, click Save to finalize the setup.


Managing Commission Setups

  • List View: View all existing commission setups, with options to edit, deactivate, or delete.
  • Edit: Modify achievement tiers or general info if business needs change.
  • Deactivate: Temporarily disable a commission setup without deleting it.

Applying Commission Setup on Achievement

When sales achievements are recorded (either automatically from sales data or manually), PrismERP calculates commissions based on the configured achievement tiers.

  • Salespeople achieving higher tiers receive higher commissions.
  • Performance tracking dashboards reflect commission earnings aligned with achievement levels.
