Statement of Changes in Equity

In PrismERP, the Statement of Changes in Equity displays all movements in the company’s equity during a selected financial period. It reflects changes recorded in the system, including opening balance, net profit or loss, capital additions, drawings, dividends, and other equity adjustments. Users can first view the table of statements, where all related equity accounts and balances are listed, before generating the formal report. Once generated, the report can be previewed on-screen, downloaded in multiple formats such as PDF, Excel, or CSV, and a custom report outline can be saved for future use. The report is directly linked to the ledger data, so any updates to equity-related transactions are automatically reflected, and users can navigate between account levels from the report for detailed viewing.

Accessing the ReportGo to the Financial Reports module in PrismERP. Select Statement of Changes in Equity from the list of available reports.
Selecting the Reporting PeriodChoose the financial year or specific date range for which the report is required. PrismERP automatically loads the financial data for the selected period.
Viewing the ReportThe report displays opening equity balance, profit/loss impact, capital transactions, and closing equity balance.
Preview & DownloadUsers can preview the report on-screen or download it in multiple formats (PDF, Excel, CSV).
Add Report OutlineUsers can create and save a custom report outline for future use, selecting specific equity accounts or sections to include in the report.
