Customer Category-wise Product Pricing
In PrismERP, product pricing is managed in a way that allows different pricing to be applied for different customer groups using customer categories. This setup helps define separate pricing rules for the same product based on who is purchasing it.
While creating a price circular, the user selects a customer category from the dropdown and assigns the pricing configuration for that specific group. This selection determines which customer segment will receive the updated pricing.
After the price circular is created and the Average Trade Price (TP) is updated, the system applies the new pricing only to the selected customer category. Other customer categories are not affected and continue to follow their existing pricing setup.
Each customer category maintains its own pricing rule, so updates made for one category remain isolated from others.
