Payroll Management
Payroll Management in PrismERP is used to manage the complete payroll structure of employees within the system. It includes the setup of salary components, the configuration of pay structures, and the definition of how employee salaries are calculated and processed within a defined payroll cycle.
The module handles the creation and organization of payroll items such as earnings, additions, and deductions, which form the base of salary calculation. It also includes the setup of pay grades and pay scales to define structured salary levels and how those levels progress within the organization.
Payroll schedules are used to define the payroll period, frequency, and payment timing. Based on these schedules, the payroll processing flow runs through each step, starting from attendance calculation, moving to salary generation, then accounting journal creation, and finally payment processing.
