Leave Carry Forward

Leave Carry Forward in PrismERP Leave Policy defines how unused leave is transferred from one leave cycle to the next. It allows users to control how much leave is carried forward as a percentage or fixed value, along with limits on maximum carry forward and its validity period. In this section, users define how unused leave will be carried forward from one year to the next. The system allows multiple carry forward rules, where each rule controls how much remaining leave can be transferred, either as a percentage or a fixed number of days. Users can also set limits on the maximum carry forward days allowed within a year to ensure proper balance control.

Each carry forward rule includes a validity period, which defines how long the carried forward leave remains usable before it expires. Additionally, users can define the maximum carry forward balance an employee can hold at any time. This helps ensure that accumulated leave is controlled and does not exceed organizational limits while still allowing employees to retain unused benefits.
