Maternity & Paternity Leave
Maternity & Paternity Leave in PrismERP Leave Policy defines special leave rules for childbirth-related benefits. It controls eligibility, allowed duration before and after birth, and the number of paid and total instances an employee can avail during service. In this section, users configure special leave rules for maternity and paternity benefits within the leave policy. These settings control eligibility conditions such as the number of living children allowed for eligibility and the maximum number of times an employee can avail this leave during their entire service period. Users can also define how many instances are paid and how many are allowed overall.
The system allows defining the number of days permitted before and after childbirth, along with whether the actual delivery date is included in the leave calculation. Additional verification rules such as medical certificates and birth confirmation documents can be enforced to validate the leave request. Finally, the billing calculation method defines how the leave payout is calculated, typically based on average gross salary over a defined period, along with the base used for calculation.
